With the GEObox smart a professional GSM/GPRS detection unit is available for automatic process
data acquisition. It is conceived as intelligent communication platform for the complete documentation
of all space referred routines and supplies thereby important information for the process optimization
and quality assurance.
The GEObox smart is a compact, durable box which can be installed easily.
By the connection with external sensors such as transponders, which communicate with the GPS-box
over analog, digital or serial interfaces, can the operational sequences continuously and differentiated
be recorded. Beside automatic vehicle -, machine- and person identification thereby also the automatic
collection of machine conditions such as start of an aggregate is ensured during simultaneous recording
of position and time.
Immediately after the activation of on-board electronics the unit of the GEObox smart
independently starts and begins with the recording. The stored data can be transmitted either
off-line over a chip (SD card) or on-line by GSM/GPRS to the operating office for further
processing. Likewise at any time the current vehicle position is retrievable over a GSM/GPRS
connection in the office.
For operational practice within many areas it will be ever more important to document processes
and working routines. Whether recordings for driven distances, running times of machines,
needed time for individual work or transportation quantities - with the daily work a plenty of
data is generated. Their documentation and analysis - in the ideal case with accurate spatial
reference - supply important impulses for efficiency increase in the office:
In combination with software solutions the GEObox smart-detection unit allows the graphical
representation of the lanes and working processes as well as an analysis of the data and computation
of for example machine run times, vehicle power, work duration etc... .
The increase in value of the overall system resulted among other things from an optimally documented
work, the possibility to improve the logistic of vehicles and machinery, securing the quality of the
individual work routines and optimizing the internal office organization.
